Kunal has over 25 years of manufacturing and operations leadership experience in the automotive, semi-conductor, aerospace, and defense industries. His career started as a Manufacturing Engineer at Toyota (NUMMI) where he first learned and applied lean principles. After Toyota, Kunal worked as a manufacturing engineer at semi-conductor test equipment maker, Teradyne and automotive parts supplier, Kavlico. At Kavlico, he achieved a black belt in Six Sigma and applied the principles of lean and six sigma to achieve improvements in yields and efficiencies. Kunal also worked at Danaher and Rexnord prior to joining NEOTech.
Kunal has focused on applying lean methodologies and eliminating waste throughout NEOTech’s Value Stream and business processes. Kunal has led multiple Kaizen events resulting in substantial improvements in OTD, yields, and reduction of inventory. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Industrial Technology. Outside work, Kunal loves to travel, hike, read and spend time with his wife and teenage twins.
