NEOTech’s business is all about converting your innovative product technology into engineered products, connecting you with the most capable supply base, manufacturing products with care and delivering them to your customers on time. NEOTech is large enough to offer refined Tier 1 tools, processes and capabilities, and small enough to care about your business as much as you do.
For over 40 years, we have been a leading provider of electronic solutions for brand name original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). This experience institutes a solid groundwork for the wide range of manufacturing technology and supply chain experience we deliver to our customers today. We set the standard for engineering and manufacturing services in the Industrial, Medical, and Aerospace & Defense markets with an emphasis on flexibility and customer service.
NEOTech had its humble beginning when Sudesh Arora purchased NATEL in 1975. The legacy of customer service and innovation began by partnering strategically with key customers and working with them to identify and solve the problems they faced. This resulted in such milestones as winning key portions of the highly successful Stinger missile program in 1986 that is still in production today. Others include various OEM divestitures and acquisitions at the behest of our strategic OEM partners that added ceramic substrate manufacturing, HTCC and expanded microelectronic assembly capabilities.
NATEL acquired EPIC Technologies, a successful mid-tier EMS company in 2013 to expand their contract manufacturing business into new manufacturing areas, markets and customers. EPIC’s history goes back to 1988 when it was founded. EPIC grew from a US footprint by expanding into Juarez Mexico in 2002, and then further with and acquisition of the Siemens EMS business in Tennessee and Ohio in 2005.
NATEL and OnCore merged in 2015 to form NEOTech. OnCore was founded in 2007 bringing together several small regional EMS companies including NuVisions, DDI and Veritek—and later Victron—into a global EMS competitor. OnCore further expanded into Mexico and China, and invested in unified and common IT systems, supply chain management and developed a strong engineering services capability to complement the EMS business.
NEOTech today combines the strengths of three leading contract manufacturers: NATEL, EPIC, and OnCore with the NEO formed from the initials of the three companies. NEOTech embodies the proud heritage of our roots and captures our combined value proposition which is to be the technology and manufacturing partner of choice for OEM’s requiring a complete suite of end-to-end solutions.
