NATEL and Raytheon Utilizes a Holistic Approach to Help Align Business Units

On April 22, 2014, Raytheon visited NATEL’s headquarters in Chatsworth, California, for a 3-day lean initiative.
The Raytheon-led effort, known as “Right Eyes on Target,” involves data collection activity and diagnostics of suppliers. Teams identify issues, risks, and potential opportunities for improvement.
This was only the second time Raytheon had done this type of assessment and it was a great success with NATEL. Since NATEL currently works with all divisions at Raytheon, this effort allowed the four business units to come together as well.
“It was not only a great opportunity to work together and conduct mutual improvements across both companies, but a great way to strengthen and grow our relationship for years to come” said Victor Yamauchi, Vice President of Continuous Improvement.
