NATEL Successfully Extends MIL-PRF-38534 (DSCC) Certification to the Class K Level
Natel has received its MIL-PRF 38534 Class K certification, qualifying the company to certify compliance to the requirements of MIL-PRF space level, Class K requirements. The company first achieved MIL-PRF 38534 Class H certification in 1990. Natel has a 30-year history of building microelectronic circuits for the OEMs. Its commitment to innovation, quality and service has allowed it to grow over the years to become one of the largest multi-chip module houses in the country.
Natel has built signal and power hybrids for space for many customers including Daimler-Benz, Hughes, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and ITT. So it was no surprise that when Natel applied for DSCC certification to the Class K level, the highest level of reliability for hybrid circuits, the review was quick, with no significant issues identified. The review was conducted in late September with the official certificate awarded in January 2005.
With its AS9100 and its MIL-PRF 38534 certifications, Natel joins a select group of 13 companies with Class K certification, a subset of the only 41 companies currently certified to manufacture to MIL-PRF 38534.
